The Alkaline Benefits of Eating and Drinking Celery

Phenolic acids which block the action of prostaglandins that encourage the growth of tumor cells. And coumarins which help prevent dietary and metabolic acids from damaging cells and One of active compounds in celery is the phytochemical coumarin, which has been proven effective in cancer or acid prevention and capable of enhancing the activity of certain white blood cells that help buffer the acids that cause cancer. The phytochemical coumarins prevent the formation and development of acids that cause colon and stomach cancers.




2 ) Pneumonia - Celery is a well known vegetable for stimulating the immune system to help fight dis-ease. Celery is packed with anti-oxidants and alkalizing compounds that fight the acids from bacteria and yeast that helps to prevent acidic causing inflammation.

3 ) Hay Fever: Celery comes on top of the list for foods that alleviate the acids that cause allergy symptoms. Also on that list are carrots, ginger, peppermint, parsley, turmeric, chamomile and cabbage.
