Soy milk is one of the soy products are rich in protein and vitamin B. However, soy milk has a low content of calcium, so that commercial products are usually made fortification. Soy milk contains isoflavones, antioxidants are compounds that reduce cholesterol.

Viewed from such a complete nutrient content, consumption of soy milk gives a positive effect on health. Some benefits of soy milk, among others:

Soy milk does not contain lactose, the carbohydrate compound found in animal milk that can cause "lactoseintolerance" of the digestive tract reject incoming lactose resulting in symptoms of diarrhea. Soy milk is rich in isoflavones, one of antioxidant compounds. Each cup of soy milk contains 20 mg of isoflavones, especially genistein and daidzein, while cow's milk does not.
